Rifleman A.E. Martin and L/Corpn C. Frost

These are three of the several graves that have been picked for restoration. Some of the pictures I have uploaded are of headstones that have been deliberately uprooted. One cannot help wondering what will happen to them.

Lt.Col Terry Nolan 1924-1965

Lt Col Terry Nolan, the Maratha Light Infantry, Born Nov 24, 1924 killed in action at Husainiwala (Punjab) on Sept 21, 1965.
If memory serves me well, Col Nolan was killed when a shell fired by the Pakistanis
exploded near him shortly before (or after) a ceasefire had been called. His son Michael studied at La Martiniere College, Lucknow and daughter Maureen at the girls' school. Not long after their tragic loss the  family moved to Australia.
